Esl One 2017 Csgo

Yesterday, July 9, the world’s biggest CS:GO tournament, ESL One Cologne powered by Intel, concluded after six days packed with top-notch CS:GO action delivered by 16 teams from around the world. One of those teams proved to be above everyone else as they defeated opponent after opponent to finally raise the coveted trophy in the sold-out LANXESS Arena - congratulations to SK Gaming!

Record attendance and digital engagement for ESL One Cologne powered by Intel 2017 Sold out LANXESS arena welcomed over 15,000 fans on each of the event days, making ESL One Cologne 2017 the most attended event since its inception in 2014. ESL One Genting 2017 was a Dota 2 esports championship tournament hosted by ESL that took place in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, in January 2017. The tournament involved eight teams, which included three directly invited teams and five teams each represented qualifying regions of Americas, China, Europe, Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

SK Gaming met with Cloud9 in the grand final. The North American squad impressed everyone with their performance, reaching their first ever ESL One final. The game itself was a rematch from the ESL Pro League Season 4 final in Brazil, where Cloud9 defeated SK on the latter's’ home turf. This time, the Brazilians got their revenge.
